The Netherlands has been a Christian country since time immemorial and many people were members of a church. This past decade has seen the rise of something called secularisation. Less and less people go to church. Singer Stef Bos grew up in a protestant family. In this song he sings about heaven, a place he used to believe in but now he doesn't know where it is. This song characterises the distance that many Dutch have from their church and faith.
